Okay, I may have found at least one problem, though I don't know exactly
how it should cause a bump at -10us.  I had changed some things around with
the spark cuts, such that instead of cutting the mu entrance early on
a flag is set.  In my subsequent tree analysis I forgot to
check the flag.  It's an easy fix and only requires running over the
trees.  Naturally today is the day that NCSA has to do maintenance on
the cluster...
