The collaboration is presently estimating the cost of constructing the
µLan Detector and the associated custom electronics. Many pieces
of support equipment such as workstations, digital oscilloscopes, tape
drives, the nitrogen lasers, standard NIM, CAMAC and VME units and
enclosures, the PMT HV system, cabling, and other items already exist.
We list the major new items that must be designed and built or
purchased from a commercial vendor.
These estimates are included in table 5.
