Our collaboration will develop the detector and major electronics items for the experiment and ship them to PSI. We will require a staging area to assemble the components and a storage area where we can keep the detector and electronics for the duration of the project. Normal items such as electronics setup areas, counting racks and possibly electronic pool items (crates, standard NIM items) can be reviewed as the final electronics design develops. We will incorporate a nitrogen laser, hence we will need a space (usually locked) for it and access to high-purity bottled gas. Our group will require modest office space, where we can setup analysis software workstations.
The most important request to PSI is the development of the additional component for the beam which will enable the chopping operation to proceed. This system must provide timing signals to and from the experiment for incorporation into our logic and triggering plans.
