Calibration data fitting
Hi guys,
Please take a look at the run10 analysis elog :
http://kaon.physics.berkeley.edu:8080/analysis-run10/4 .
The subject is full kinetics fits to the nitrogren calibration data
for run10 and run8.
The conclusion is that the extracted normalized transfer rate depends
on the impurity concentration, but the value for run8 is completely
consistent with Francoise's previous value and the value for run10 is a
bit high. Assuming that lambda_Ztr stays constant from run to run, this
implies that the combination of the GC and Claude's volumetric
calculations are good to only ~10-20 percent.
I will now be focusing on the water calibration for a bit, unless there
are further requests on this fitting.
Regards,
Brendan
