Dear Peter,
thanks I got Steve's file.
I had one more question.
I can do 2 things now
1) as you suggested start the muons at Steve's given position with his
momentum.
I will record the muon stop position
Do you really need the proton stop (much more work)
2) Use a GEANT incoming muon as always, track it up to a position Z
which I obtain
from Steve's file, and in this position I apply then Steve's new
scattered momentum
I think I can do this, and then we would be able to generate a real data
file
which could run through the analysis and one could see how much events
we would find.
# 2 is more work, but do you think this works, as I think that I have
tuned my MC thresholds
in the way that roughly RUN8 tracks are reproduced.
