Hi, Peter,
I don't know whether you have had a chance to look at the trigger
any more -- but I should tell you that the Alvarez trigger rate is 60-70 Hz.
This is actually in line with expectations (from my 3/14/2006
teleconference presentation). However, at 60 Hz, the raw data rate is
17 MB/s, which will probably not be manageable: at least not for this run.
If you could get it down to 20 Hz, I think we would have a chance.
