I was talking to the Hallendienst concerning the mag shielding. For the
installation itself we should assume half a day. But there are certainly
more things to be done:
- At the moment we have on the floor a drawn line indicating the beam
line. This will be hidden after the installation. Do we want to have
this again on top of the shielding?
- It certainly might be a good idea to fix the shielding on the ground.
Is there somehow need to fix the tracks of the hydrogen target on the
shielding?
- There could be need for further alignement by the survey group. This
depends on the constructional layout (is something connected with the
shielding or not?
I personally have too less knowledge on the MuCap installation (for
example details of the target) to be able to judge on the design. But
regarding these additional tasks, the guy from the Hallendienst said it
might easily take a day (if not a bit more than that)

I just phoned Dr. Ootani from the Muegamma group. They are not able to
switch on the magnet until beginning of November since they are in
maintenance and therefore they cannot cool down the system.
