Thanks for your answer. However, I don't understand why the
main frontend is not working. What do we have to do to make
it working properly.
I have load the recover.odb. I have even changed the logger
dir to be ok on this machine. 
--> I try to start the mwpc, but the program fail and even
destroy the content of the odb, because at the next odbedit,
the entire experiment is gone.

I believe it has something to do with the main program not
working.

Julia will be in front of the computer on Tuesday, totally
alone. I don't know what advice I have to give to her now. 

I am wondering if the system is really talking to the mscb
or if we have to change something in the system. I have
writen an elog about all details (run9 preparation).
