RE: MuCap
Dear Peter and John,
I got the latest file of MuCap6.dwg, but all your new work is in the
file escv2.dwg, which was not in the archive. Can you please put this file
zipped in the same place I got the other one (ftp.npl.uiuc.edu/pub/mucap )?
Thanks,
Larry
P.S. Sorry about the password thing. I hate it when I have the info and
don't remember it.

Dear Larry,
I have posted John's latest drawing MuCap6 on the mucap website (link
detector systems) and ftp side. It contains the design of the gondola
holders and a sketch of the end wheel to support them.
I hope to get the base plate dimensions from PSI today. Not a fancy
drawing but the basic geometry.
I hope that will be sufficient for you to make your first stab at the
problem. I have time for discussion up to Thusday morning, then I
will be pretty tied up in a meeting until the weekend.
Some details. John's drawing has become huge, more than my computer can
digest. We hope that mechanical desktop will compactify things.
You will notice that the top/bottom cylinder separation is not horizontal.
perhaps it is better to make that horizontal and rotate the detectors
accordingly.
Best regards
Peter
