You must mean the line that starts, "As shown in figure 1, the muCap..."
I agree; It works better simply moved to the next paragraph.

Here I only want a functional description of the muCap detector.

Yeah, you are absolutely correct.  It now reads, "Impurity formation
channels, and the muCap method to manage them, are listed below."
