Dear colleagues,
This is to inform you of the next excitation of the COBRA magnet in
the PiE5.
We are planning to run the magnet twice next Monday (June 26th) to
measure the effect of the shielding on the PiM3 beam line and to
calibrate the active compensation coil at the GPS.
The first excitation will be done for a few hours from around nine in
the morning.
The second one will be started around four in the afternoon. It's not
clear how long the second excitation is, but it's expected to be
shorter.
Thank you for your cooperation,
Wataru OOTANI
