muon entrance detector configuration

Dear Peter et al.,

Fred just brought to my attention the 2004 Inventor drawing (in the
Run9-prep ELOG) which shows the original plans for the Run8 muDetector
configuration:

  http://kaon.physics.berkeley.edu:8080/run9-prep/113

According to the accompanying description, the drawing's sequence of
detectors/elements as encountered by an incoming muon is

muons --> muSCA / lead collimator / Al holder / muSC / muPC.

However, discussions here in Berkeley have revealed that each of us has a
different and unique memory (or delusion) about what the true Run8
configuration actually was. For instance, I was under the impression that
the sequence was:

  muons --> muSC / lead collimator / muSCA /muPC

Given this range of opinions, we should probably discuss this during next
week's teleconference, and most improtantly get input from the
"specialists" (Francoise?). In the meantime, however, could I ask
Illinois to fix the UIUC MuCap page's "Run8" link? I was hoping to look
at some of the photos there in an effort to resolve out this confusion.

Thanks,
Tom
