excel spreadsheet and analysis computer

Dear Dave and Peter,

Regarding a nice analysis computer for MuLan, every argument about such 
a machine has been for having it.  Most of the runs I've been on have 
been short, so now that we're having an extended run with possibly the 
freedom of personnel to look at the data, it would be nice to have such 
a machine to take a look at a large fraction of the data as its coming 
in to look for any high-statistics problems.  I would certainly like to 
have one of these machines for the backend as well, so having two makes 
sense.  mulan5.npl.uiuc.edu (aka tb05) is a nice machine, but only about 
half as nice as these will be in terms of processing power.  Of course, 
if it's an argument of not having enough tapes, I'd choose the tapes 
over the computer :).

Peter, would you send me the excel template for personnel, so I can make 
one for MuLan?
