Dear friends of unpure topics,
I have put a first version of a report on the Run9
impurities on my analysis page at
http://weak0.physics.berkeley.edu/weakint/research/muons/private/bernhard/Run9_Impurity-Report.pdf
It includes a discussion of the factor 2 water problematic
which I think is solved. Please check my considerations.
Note that the numbers have considerably changed from
my preliminary report during this weeks teleconference.
I think the factor 2 really comes down to a factor 1.35
which can be reasonably explained with standard kinetic rates.
I welcome any comments and encourage any corrections
and other contributions.
Both will be included in a final version.
Cheers
Bernhard
