surveying needs

Dear Francoise,
  We are just in the process of moving the detector this morning and
Torsten of the survey group has asked us a short but important question.
 He asked whether it is necessary to align the ePC/gondola relative to
the detector frame, as they did last year.

  I was under the impression that you and Peter sweated to slide the new
gondolas bars in, and that only the top half of the eSC was removed.  Is
this correct?  Our belief is that this realignment is not necessary
because the bottom half of the detector+ePCs have not been removed.  If
not, I should tell them soon because it will affect their survey plans
for today.  Please let me know if possible and sorry for the short
notice.
