scintillators

Dear Peter, Fred and Brendan,

I went to the MuCap barrack and checked the situation with
the light guide and scintillators. I have made some
pictures, which you can find in:
http://www.npl.uiuc.edu/~mulhauser/mucap/scint/index.html.
However, it is pretty tricky to have a sharp picture of such
a material with the aluminium foils around. 

Anyway, I have checked them by eyes. All the ones that I
clean seems in perfectly good shape, except the first one
that you and me cleaned together before gluing. "Mines" are
really clean of glue and totally flat, without ANY traces of
any crack around them. I have turned them in any direction
and believe that they are fine. Thus, I don't think it is
necessary to do any other work on them before gluing them
together. "Our" is worse, but essentially the marks are on
the edges. I am more puzzled for this one.

Can we speak about this situation during today's conference
call?
