Hi Tom,
it's great that your concerns approach now the final product of
our experiment. Of course lambda vs. tau is completely equivalent.
But since we fit lambda's and the corrections (e.g. due to impurity
captures) are delta-lambda's, I think it's easier to stay with
quoting decay rate's.
Once, we have a publishible lambda, it's easy to invert it and
give for comparisons also the lifetime.
That's just my personal opinion.
