Hi Rene, after fixing a couple of bugs in my SIS module readout software, I think that we finally have the compressors functioning in the DAQ again. I performed only a cursory data analysis, in order to see what the spectrum of compressor hits looked like--I have included the PAW hbook file with this e-mail. It looks something like this: * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * which resembles pulser graphs I've seen your program produce before. So hopefully everything is OK. Of course, it would be more efficient if you could analyze the data yourself. Do you want me to send you the software to do so? Or, Claude and/or Peter are familiar with the "mu" analysis program; perhaps they could establish an analysis directory for you. (Of course, you must remember to convert the MIDAS data format into the old "MuCap" data format before analysis with the current software. I'm working on fixing that at the moment). Let me know what you need my help with. Tom
