Hi Rene,
the spare SIS module is in one of the boxes on the shelf above the
computers in the MuCap barrack--I put it in there for safekeeping.
Concerning the reintroduction of the compressors: although the DAQ has
been overhauled, the compressor readout software is essentially unchanged.
The software is ready for testing, so it's only a matter of connecting the
compressor signals into the DAQ logic, and then changing the appropriate
MIDAS ODB flags. Since there will inevitably be some initial problems
when we attempt to reactivate the compressors, should we arrange to work
jointly over the phone sometime soon? I think that would expedite the
troubleshooting process.
