Detection method:

i)

Muons are tracked with a combination of beam scintillators, MWPC's and the TPC.

ii)

Decay electrons are tracked with a chamber/scintillator combination external to the hydrogen vessel.

iii)

Competing background processes (transfer, capture) and the properties of the stopped muons (diffusion) are monitored by charged particle tracking in the TPC.
