I got half of the drawings off today...

Dear Peter,

     All of the 2D drawings are checked, and plotted.  I just barely made
the Fed Ex depot at 5:00pm with the lower frame sets.  Those RFQs got out
and will be at their shops Tuesday morning.  The scintillator and wire
chamber support parts are just going to have to go out Tuesday morning.
They were still coming out of the plotter when I had to leave for Fed Ex
with what I had done.  All the cover letters are done.  I will zip the
finished drawings and put them on my ftp site shortly.  I have attached the
cover letters and spreadsheets for the shop info.  I sent them out to more
than 4 shops each to increase the odds, and I duplicated some of the best
companies on both lists.  The chance that one of them will win both jobs is
slim, but they are large enough that they could do the whole job.  We would
simply tell them which parts we wanted first, if you want the scintillator
support at UIUC first for example.
