How to start the MuCAP slow control
1) Go to the experimental area and locate PC620 (right side screen on the
little table)
2) There are 3 icons on the desktop. - mu (slow-control)

hv-read
- mu-logger
Click hv-read
Click mu
This opens up 2 Labview windows showing each of the vi's.
3) Start both programs (mu, hv-read) by clicking the arrow (see below)
on top of the window
To stop the program, you have to click the red stop sign.
4) If the PSI parallel port slow control bus is connected,
also start the mu-logger
5) After start of mu-slow control, you will be prompted to give
a file name for the data file.
select the c:/data directory (should
come up with this automatically)
suggested file name: slow-day-month-year.dat
(e.g. slow-01-08-2003.dat)
Errors:
- If the TPC currents are flat at 0 and -120 nA, check if the RS232 cable
is connected a) on PC820 and b) on the current monitor module in the elctronics
upstairs.
Location of the programs:
All Slow control vi-programs are called from the location:
C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Bernhard\mucap
