Re: new dolphin+puma alive

Dear Fred,

I can add a few details of our efforts to get old dolphin's contents back:

Since it was out of question to start old dolphin on the ethernet, we
decided to mount
a new hard disk in addition to the old one, install the PSI linux on the
new one, then
activate the old dolphin disk as a slave to the new one. This effort
failed - the 2 discs
were not compatible.

As a next step I mounted the old disk on an external USB device and
tried to read it
with the new dolphin (with the idea to copy all home directories over).
But it failed
showing lots of reading errors.

After that, Valery took the old disk into his custody and we continued
without. So
the disk still exists and I can investigate next week if there is some
recovery possible.

With best regards

Claude
