Notice of imminent interruption to ELOG and CVS service

Dear all,

the Berkeley Weak Interactions group is scheduled to move into new offices
in an adjacent building this coming Wednesday, August 30.  Consequently, I
will need to shut down the kaon.physics.berkeley.edu computer which
functions as the MuCap ELOG and CVS server.  You should therefore be
prepared for a temporary interruption in these services, beginning on
Tuesday, August 29, until I can get the computers reconnected to the
network in their new homes.  I have already taken the necessary steps to
establish fixed IPs, etc., so in principle I should be able to get things
up and running again almost immediately.  However, since things rarely
work as smoothly as planned, I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up taking
a couple days before service is restored.  I will try to keep you apprised
of the situation if it drags out.
