Re: gondola timing
Hi Steve,
With some guidance from Fred, I was able to figure out the gondola
"problem". First, I determined all of the timings properly - the
muSC-gond timings had changed by about 50 ns because we installed a linear
fanout in the area to allow for kicker logic to occur immediately in the
area. So, these times have been corrected.
The real problem came from the EPCGOND_PARAM which had a zDiff of +/-
400. For the gondola that was "inefficient" in the plots I showed in
Illinois, the centroid of the zdiff was quite low, like 300 or 350. Thus,
one side of the tail was lost. I increased this limit liberally in the
local copy and recovered the efficiency.
Thanks for the pointers,
Brendan
