some help from our high energy colleagues

Dear Peter,
Our high energy colleagues continue to be very helpful. Mats sent me to
Tony Liss. Mats thinks that he probably borrowed the supplies from
Tony. Tony has a test setup for the CDF muon chambers on the third
floor. They have 10-15 supplies and are using 8 or so. Tony handed me
three more just in case we need them. Tony and Mike Haney said the
supply was designed by FNAL engineer Tom Droege. Tony and Mike have not
used the remote input. I sent Tom Droege an email asking him for the
pin out. Tony will see if some one else at FNAL might help us out. Tom
is actually retired. I find that the rear connector is identical to the
connector on the Bertan supply. I inherited a few of the connectors
with the Bertan supply, and I find that the connector fits. Bertan says
that pin A controls power supply A, pin C controls power supply B, pins
B and D are ground. The control is 1 V DC = 1 kV. The Droege supply
also uses pins A, B, C and D. It is likely that the pin out is the
same, but I certainly could not tell from opening the module. I may
find another contact possibility from Tony. Do you need the connectors?
Regards, Paul
