no Bertan, but another possibility

Dear Peter,

Bertan no longer makes power supplies appropriate for wire chambers. See
http://www.bertan.com/products.html
The one surplus equipment company that I know of, OE Technologies, had
nothing.

Mats Selen has two Vern Kiebler power supplies. They look like Bertan
clones. I think that Kiebler was a small company close to Fermilab.
These supplies are probably 30 years old. They are listed on the
Fermilab equipment pool. See
http://www-esd.fnal.gov/esd/catalog/main/fermilab/es7125.htm

I did a quick check. All channels give voltage. I put 3 kV into 10
Mohm. Current trip at 80% of full scale works. Trip at 0.8 kV on the
0.1 mA scale. I can have some one box them and ship them to you if you
thing that these would be useful. Mats does not need them back any time
soon.

Regards, Paul
