Dear Peter,
Sorry for the delay in replying: I have been away since last Tuesday.
The TRIUMF TTL splitter box contains the "overcurrent" interlock. Hence
if one cabinet experiences an "overcurrent" the TTL splitter prevents
any further (TTL) turn-on turn-off command pulses from reaching ANY of
the 4 cabinets. Hence all four cabinets will stop triggering, and the no
further "transition spikes" will be seen on the TRIP out signal.
Hope this is clear.
How is the data collection going for MuCap?. When will MuLan run again?
Best regards,
Mike

Dear Mike,
since MuCap has restarted its run and we are using the kicker again (it
works fine so far), we have a small question. When the kicker is running
fine, one gets on this TRIP out signal two a spike at each transition.
If the kicker trips, these spikes should disappear. Now, if one cabinet
trips, what happens to the other three? We assume that they are switched
off too, but we'd like a confirmation for that.
Thanks a lot for your response.
Best greetings from PSI
