statistics question ?

Dear Steve and Tom,

We want to do the following measurement to
get the tracking resolution of the eDetectors only.

We have a small (5x5 mm scintillator ) detector
whcih we put in the center of the chambers
in the place of the TPC.

We can see the muon stops there and then
the decay electron.

Do you have any suggestions how much of statistics
one would need in terms of muon stops to
extract the e-tracking resolution on a reasonable level ?

Please answer in the next 3 hours.
