Dear Mulan and Mucap,
The committee said:
Mulan: We are very pleased with the progress. In 2004, they
were lacking the two key parts of their experiment. Now they
have everything ready. Life is wonderful. This is great.
They will get what they asked for.
Mucap: We are pleased by the good progress. We are happy for
the new column for pure protium. They will get what they
ask. And I (Cy H.) want to know the value of the g_p! go!
Fast: We appreciate the progress, but we are disappointed
by the status. The road to successfully have 10^12 is not
clear, even to 10^11 this year! You need a sustained effort.
We approve ONLY 6 w this year, such that you solve your
DAQ. If you can prove us that your DAQ rate is better, you
will get the rest. It makes no sense to run at low DAQ rate!
ALC will get all the magnet all year long, because the
lamb shift laser is not yet working. Lamb shit got 4W early
2007. So Robert will have the magnet for the 4 weeks in
June-July.
---> We stay with the proposed schedule, as written in the
progress report.
Congratulations to every one in both collaborations.
Best regards
Francoise
