Dear all, A first 8-channel board is already under construction. Three PCBs were furnished and one was sent with all the necessary components to a company in order to check the goodness of their soldering, ... aiming to be prepared for the mass production. This full 8-channel prototype board will be ready for the first weeks of January. I will need some software to test the unit. I will stay in contact with Fred. Concerning the high signals, we are not too afraid since each FADC is protected by a previous amplifier limiting the voltages. What can occur are saturations and dead time for recovery. Anyway, if I red correctly the elog, since the last implementation done by Fred, you have the prototype presently in test in the experiment and you could tell if the FADCs are still alive. I send you herewith the schemes of the 8 fold FADCs board with the input connection informations for the various signal types. Best regards and my best wishes for a glory Christmas and an happy New Year 2006.... after the end of the run. René
