Dear Peter,
  I have set some thresholds for the new TPC HV of 5.450! and included
them in the elog.  Please form an opinion about the number of blue points
and let me know.  I observed that the thresholds for the different sectors
seem to diverge, that is, different sectors have a different number of
blue points for the same threshold, so I have tried to make some minor
adjustements.  Perhaps they are all still a bit too low.

  Also, we are getting different results between the 2 analyses.  On
dolphin, it reports that every block is cut due to "too many hits in muSC
copy 1 only".  On the online analyzer, this message does not occur (for
the same midas file).  We have found the code that produces it,
MMuSCAnalysisC.cpp . We also see that only a few blocks are actually cut
in the online analysis.  Perhaps Fred can help here.

  Finally, the latest news on the kicker saga is that we are running right
now with mu- and just the top plate at 12.5 kV, in LESS mode.  The early
exit polls seem to indicate an extinction factor of >10 .  Given the
stream of emails and suggestions from Francoise,  Mike Gary and Dave, I
think we should consider the option of running with this weak kicker (at
least until Wednesday) and then deciding what actions are required.  We
can talk more about this as a group and I will send a mail to the kicker
team with an explanation of our current situation.
