I already did exactly that.  If I'm not mistaken the cathode is on
ground.  I didn't find the voltages in the Run 6 logbook, but I'll
check again tomorrow.  The base looks like a simple resistor divider
chain, with equal intervals except for the first and last; probably
it's more like the "voltage divider A" referred to in the data sheet,
meaning a maximum supply voltage of 1350 V, 1200 V typical, right?
I have a vague recollection that the voltage was relatively low
compared to that of the eSC PMTs.  Do you know where we might find
a positive HV supply suitable for PMTs (4 of them)?
