yes, please do NOT proceed quickly on this without discussion with
us. Peter is here in Santa Fe, I'm in transit at the moment. There are
a number of little issues. You can, I do believe, install the "7th"
crate and any spare WFDs around. The goal should be to try to get that
stuff integrated into your daq ... then expand. We must keep Boston in
the loop on this. We are hoping to use a 1 crate system in MuCap.
Perhap in the AC environiment, it will work. Alternately, perhaps we
can read outwhat we need with what will fit in a 1 crate system...for
example, if we have to take a few Gondolas and put BOTH ends through a
Lin Fan In (separated by 24 ns) then a WFD island for that gongola would
have always both bumps. We would do it for just a few to duck under the
limit of the crate support the system -- but it would leave MuLan in
tact for some important systems tests that must be done.
