slow control update

Dear Peter,

I think in prionciple the slow control is now running.
I collected now all relevant information and data sheets on

http://weak0.physics.berkeley.edu/weakint/research/muons/slow-control/slow-control-index.html

The wire ports table shows the assignments of channels to the
cards and reflects my present knowledge of which sensors are
connected where.

now there are 2 humidity sensors and 3 RTD temperatures working

in order to connect 2 more humidity sensors and the bubble meter
you have to do the following:

to connect the gas bubble meter:

there should be a bnc cable hanging around with two wires
coming out. These 2 wires (signal ground) should be connected to
board 1: pin 34 -signal and pin 68 ground, with pin 68 being
simultaneously connected to the AIGND ground channel
with a short piece of wire.
- connect the BNC cable from the flow meter on the other side.
(signal ground)
there should be a resistor connected on the board directly
for the voltage drop.

if it gets connected, it should work with the present program

to connect an additional humidity sensor:
- take a sensor with 3 wires attached: signal, voltage (+5V) and ground.
- connect the voltage wire to a +5 V output on board 1
- connect the signal output wire to channel 28
- connect the ground wire to channel 61 and simultaneously put a
short wire from ch 61 to any AIGND on board 1

if you want to connect a second new humidity sensor
- proceed as above and use
channels 23 and 57 instead of 28 and 61

- once you have connected additional sensors,
please tell me and I will change the program
to display them.

			best regards

				Bernhard
