Re: robot drive

Dear Peter,
I did indeed start a copy with Steve's help. I chose to learn some perl
scripting to accomplish the ftp'ing and error checking in a somewhat
reasonable way. I have just arrived in chicago and observed that the
archive has been receiving tapes for the last five hours, and that all
of the files that have been copied have the same size on the disk and the
archive. I will check again in the morning to inform you all of the
effective rate. Thanks Steve for handling the robot and staging parts of
the script and having it work so smoothly.

Best regards,

Brendan
