Dear colleagues and friends,
It is with mixed feelings that I am sending you this
message. Simultaneously very happy and extremely sad, I have
to inform you that I will be leaving the MuLan and MuCap
collaboration on September 30, 2005.
I will be starting to work at the International Atomic
Energy Agency, in Vienna, on October 1, 2005, in the Physics
Section, responsible for the usage of particle accelerators
and new neutron detection systems for illicit materials.
It is a new opportunity and a great challenge for me.
However, I have spend nearly two years with both
collaborations and have enjoyed basically every moment of
it. It was a great pleasure (nice french expression, I know)
to work with all of you. I have learned a lot and was
feeling very well with you. Thus, it is sad for me to leave.
I will probably not have a lot of time to continue to work
with you. However, please remain assured that I will make
sure that all the necessary information will be passed to
the appropriate persons. Also, I would enjoy continuing to
hear results and questions from both collaborations.
Thanks to all and every one of you for the good moments we
passed together and for the knowledge I learned from you.
Best regards
Francoise
