I Have a small theory for the problem of glue. 
1. The first scintillator we cleaned and glue was really nice
at the beginning. I only spend few minutes removing the
excess glue (which was not really there). And then we glue
it to the scintillator. 
2. The  second scintallator light guide was full of
glue. You and me spend a lot of time using alcool to dilute
and remove the glue. Then we try to glue it to the
scintillator.

I believe that we should have leave it "breath" longer. The
alcool, which dilue glue, was still around and could have
stay there. Thus, our gluing job was weakend and wet.

This is my new idea. Thus, I have cleaned all broken
scintillators in the MuCap barrack, left them ther for the
week-end and was planing to glue them after it, on mOnday or
tuesday, depending of you comment.s
