Dear Alexei, dear Claude,

A follow up on the window: The NIM 197 (1982) 305 paper
of Chapin et al. describes their Be window in some detail and
also mentions a flapper valve (hard to get that into our set-up!).
The Be thickness was 2" x 0.030". They also mention the decoupling of
the window from the bending flanges.

I would need drawing like fig.7 to ask for a quote.
